“Can you outline for me what to watch and what to like on social media to make it ‘worth it’ to sponsors to support the LPGA?”

We received this question in our DMs and loved it. There are so many ways to support the LPGA, but in case you need a little refresh, check out our favorites below. Have another suggestion? Share it with us on Instagram in the comments!

TUNE IN

Simply said: More viewership numbers equals more advertising dollars. At Fore the Ladies, we post the LPGA broadcast and live streaming times every week on our Instagram stories and highlights so you won’t forget. If you’re home, at a bar, anywhere near a TV or on your phone, turn on the LPGA tournament of the week!

FOLLOW ON SOCIAL

Follow the majors. Follow the tournaments. Follow the players. Whether you’re on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok or all of the above, hit that follow button and engage with their content.

Pro tip: See who Fore the Ladies is following on Instagram.

ATTEND AN EVENT

After some quick research, we found that most LPGA general admission tournament tickets are $15-$45. We’re talking about a professional sporting event! The athletes are incredibly generous with their time and engaging with fans. One of the best ways to see what the LPGA is all about is by seeing it in person. These golfers are the best in the world and you can watch them play all 18 without commercials ;)

BONUS IDEAS

Thanks to those on Instagram who added more ideas:

“Volunteer at the events. They are so much fun! And the swag is 🤌🏾” - Ashley J.

“Get your kids involved - all of them. Our two daughters have FTL tie dye shirts and love them - their first golf swag! We’re consciously talking about the women players in addition to the men’s tour that our son follows, so now he’s paying more attention to the women too. Share the social media accounts you’re following so your friends can follow them too - reposting the stories about the U.S. Women’s Open helped my mom friends learn more about what’s going on and then asking about how to get their daughters involved and how to watch… and who to follow!” - J. Singleton
